It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ada Rendell announces her passing on Thursday, December 9th, 2010 at the Health Science Centre, St. John’s at the age of 79 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughters: Elizabeth Rendell (Bernard Grant), Corner Brook and Linda Ward (David), Grand Valley, Ontario; brother: Albert Attwood, Corner Brook; sister: Blanche Knee, Badgers Quay; brother-in-law: George Rendell (Jeanette), Kelowna, BC and sister-in-law: Margaret Howe, Etobicoke, ON; as well as large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband James Rendell, August 31, 2003 and sister: Margaret Pinsent. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 14th at 2:00 p.m. from Humber United Church, Clarence Street with Reverend Fran Ota officiating, followed by interment at Mt. Patricia cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Bay of Islands SPCA.
