RITA MARY QUILTY HIGHLAND’S, NL AUGUST 1, 1927 – DECEMBER 19, 2010 Passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2010 Rita Mary Quilty at her family residence, Highland’s, NL at the age of 83 years. She is survived by her two sons: Gordon (Eleanor), Andrew (Wanda); seven grandchildren: Amy, Jill, Garett, Lenore, Nikita, Dillon, Skyeler; two great-grandchildren: Grayson, Taryn; one sister Helena (Alfred) Patry; four brothers: Frank, Gerald, John (Vivian), Walter; one sister-in-law Debbie and a large circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband William on September 13, 1971; parents Alexander and Margaret Downey; grandson William on March 22, 1985; brothers: Richard, Albert, Vincent; sisters: Maude, Bride, Marie. Friends may visit St. Columcille Roman Catholic Church in St. Fintan’s on Tuesday from 3 – 5 & 7 – 9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 10: 30 a.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Interment will follow the service in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Highland’s. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones’ choice.
