MARY MATILDA MAUD STONE Corner Brook, NL August 16, 1926 - December 21, 2010 	 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Matilda Maud Stone announce her passing on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 surrounded by her loving family at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 84 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Reginald (Hilda) Brake, Marion (Pat) Duke, Wanda (Elwood) Stevens, Lana (Eugene) Rees and Linda (Chris) Day; 13 grandchildren: Maxine (Dave) Boyd, Byron Brake (Sally), Charlene Brake (Jonathan), Patrick Jr. (Jennifer) Duke, Sheldon Duke, Sherry Duke (Shawn), Sandra Stevens (Bill), Connie Stevens (Jason), Michael (Alana) Rees, Michelle (David) Wells, Mary-Lynn Day (Shannon) Marlene (Anthony) Green and Crystal (Scott) Hendry; 10 great-grandchildren: Sarah, Jeremy, Sophie, Haley, Mackenzie, Cole, Kaitlyn, Emma Grace, Joseph and Evan; sister Alice (Glen) St. Germaine, Iowa, USA; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her daughter Marjorie Jean Brake, parents Caroline and Daniel Stone and brother William Stone. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 24 at 11:00 a.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home Chapel, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue with Major Frank Johnson officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, Clarence Street.
