CARTER Roland S. Corner Brook, NL December 8, 1916 - April 3, 2005 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roland Carter announce his passing on Sunday, April 3rd, 2005 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 88 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his two sons: Gordon (Maureen), Steady Brook and Gregory, Corner Brook; grandchildren: Troy (Tina), Fort St. John, B.C. and Shane (Shonna), Corner Brook; great-grandchildren: Heather, Shane and Brandon; one brother, Pearce (Inez), Corner Brook; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Doris, 1988; sisters: Josephine, Evelyn and Violet; brothers: Reg, Stewart and Fred. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue, Corner Brook today, Tuesday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 6th at 2:00 p.m. from The Cathedral of St. John The Evangelist, Main Street with The Very Rev.
