CALVERT CONRAD MULLINS CORNER BROOK, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Calvert Mullins announces his passing on Wednesday, January 26th, 2011 at Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 76 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children: Conrad (Rosemary), Pasadena, Shirley McRae (Perry), New Castle, ON, Dwight (Roseanne), Mt. Pearl and Dana (Marion), Halifax, NS; his companion: Patricia McCarthy; grandchildren: Conrad, Allison, Tonya, Shaundra, Michael, Meghan, Kevin, Stephanie, Ashley and Devon; two great grandchildren: Emma and Luka; sister: Shirley Tibbo, NB; brother-in-law: Reginald Simms (Elizabeth), Gander; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn, 2002; and two brothers and five sisters. Granting his wishes, cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home chapel, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., followed immediately by the funeral service at 11:00. Reverend Tanya White and Reverend Coombs officiating. The Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at Western Memorial Hospital.
