MYERS MERCEDES MARY Bartett’s Harbour, NL 						 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mercedes Mary Myers announce her passing on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre, Port Saunders at the age of 79 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Patrick; 5 sons: Gus (Evelyn), Terry (Kathy), Ren (Christina), Wayne (Janet) and Amedee (Josephine); 3 daughters: Alice (John), Irene Hamlyn and Helen Myers; 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; sisters: Anora (Issac), Julia (Late Benedict Mahar) and Marie (Late Joseph Pittman); brother Aloysius (Josephine); sisters-in-law: Regina (Late Raymond Caines) and Madeline (Late Martin Sr. Caines); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her daughter Jessie, parents Dominic and Alice Caines, brothers Raymond, Martin Sr. and Stanley (Mabel), sister Leona (Luke) Mahar and daughter-in-law Verna Myers. Friends may visit Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Bartlett’s Harbour on Wednesday and Thursday from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, January 28 at 2:00 p.m. with Father V. Anthony officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
