SCOTT MALCOLM SIMMS Corner Brook, NL May 24, 1931 - February 8, 2011 	 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Scott Malcolm Simms announce his passing on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 79 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving his wife of 57 years Sarah (nee Young); 7 children: Alan, Dennis (Margaret), Terri (Robert) Hall, Bruce (Marlene), Gary (Martha), Darren (Lisa) and Kimberly (Dion) Combdon; 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; brothers Larry (Alice) and Melvin (Jacqueline); sister Juanita (Johnny) Balmer; sister-in-law Susan Simms; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Alberta, brother Hedley and sister Marion. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 11 at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fran Ota officiating. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
