LeFRANK John Power Benoit's Cove, NL WWII Merchant Marine It is with great sadness that the family of the late John LeFrank announce his passing on Friday, April 8th, 2005 at his residence in Benoit's Cove at the age of 79 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his two daughters: Charlotte LeFrank and Jennifer Gelinas (Mark), residing in Winsor, ON; two step-grandchildren: Meaghyn and Shane Gelinas; four brothers: Roger (Jeannie), Yarmouth, NS, Gordon (Bonnie), London, ON, Paul (Cathy), Boston, Mass., and George (Velda), Dartmouth, NS; special friends and cousins: Luella and Jerry Sheehan, Benoit's Cove, 20 nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends throughout Ontario and the Maritimes who knew and loved John. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 12th at 2:00 p.m. from Our Lady Star of the Sea, Benoit's Cove. Fr. Bernard Buckle officiating. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Janeway Children's Hospital Foundation.
