JAMES WILLIAM RYAN Port Saunders, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Ryan announce his passing on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 76 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Marie; sons: Marcel (Judy), St. Barbe, James Jr. (Patricia), Lloydminister, Alberta, William, Brampton, Ontario and Darren (Pamela), Port au Choix; daughters: Jocelyn (Kevin), Porrt au Choix, Paula (Michael), St. Anthony and Vanessa (Dale), Hawkes Bay; grandchildren: Andrew, Matthew, Jimmy, Colin, Cody, Shawn, Chantelle, Lacey, Chelsea, Nicholas, Sarah and Hannah; great-grandchildren: Jonathan and Keegan; brothers: Clarence, Kevin, John and Brendan; sister Philomena; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents John and Elsie, brothers William, Michael, Austin and sister Sophia. The family will be receiving friends from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Port Saunders on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 12 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Lee Lainey officiating. Interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
