It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gerald Dyson announce his passing on Sunday, February 13th, 2011 at his residence in Happy Valley Goose Bay at the age of 86 years. He will be sadly missed by his children: Donna (Carl), Debbie (Joe), Jerry (Kathy), Kirk (Connie), Denise (Kevin), Oscar (Geri), Duane (Glenys), Lori (Randy); 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister Laverne (Roger) sister-in-law Gwen, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by wife Lockie (January 27, 2011); daughter Dale; grand-daughter Jan; brothers: Stewart and Bart; sister Becky; parents Ephriham and Lucy. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, February 16th, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the Pentecostal Tabernacle. Interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
