It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alexander Spencer announce his passing on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 89 years. The family will be receiving from from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church in Burgeo beginning Thursday evening from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 19 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mary Rose Colbourne officiating. Interment to follow at the Burgeo Community Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers accepted. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Corner Brook.
