It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hazel Maynard announce her passing at the Interfaith Home for Seniors on Saturday, April 9th, 2005 at the age of 90 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her four sons: Benjamin (Caroline), George (Joan), Corner Brook, Harold (Donnie) and Jack (Sandra), Fredericton, NB; 15 grandchildren: Brian, David, Robert, Rodney, Carla, Janet, Ronnie, Bruce, Jamie, Franklin, Kenny, Patti, Karen, Peter and Steven; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters: Faith Colley, St. John's and Florence (George) Kendall, Corner Brook; brothers: Joseph (Mavis) Hatcher, Labrador City, and Eric (Jen) Hatcher, Corner Brook; sister-in-law Shirley Hatcher, Corner Brook and brother-in-law: Edward Maynard, Norris Point; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Benjamin, December 25, 1969, parents: Joseph and Annie Hatcher of Woody Point; sisters: Alice Parsons and Edna Gilley; brothers: Wallace, Thomas and George Hatcher, enfant brother Hillary; and grandson Scott Maynard. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 13th at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street. Rev. Derek Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Receiving Chapel. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the All Saints Church Memorial Fund.
