Evelyn Virginia Brake Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Evelyn Brake announces her passing at Western Memorial Hospital on Saturday, February 19th, 2011 at the age of 79 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughter: Kim (Ralph) Crocker, Trout River, grandson: Adam (Bonnie); granddaughter: Nicole (Sheldon), great grandchildren: Griffin and Jennifer; daughter: Michelle (Ambrose) Blanchard, Corner Brook; grandchildren: Krista and Kenny; sister: Hilda (Gerald) Kendall, Brampton, ON; brothers: Fraser Brake, Brampton, ON, Hughie Brake, Long Term Care, Corner Brook and his wife Clarine, Trout River; sisters-in-law: Stella and Mary Brake; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Maxwell Brake, April, 1991; parents: Catherine and Azariah Brake; sister: Doreen; brothers: Valance, Murdoch and Brazil; sister-in-law: Edna Brake. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 22nd at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street followed by interment at Mt. Patricia cemetery. Reverend Tanya White officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
