DEBORAH DIANE SMITH Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Debbie Smith announce her sudden passing on Monday, March 14th, 2011 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 49 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband: Tim Gash and his son, Tim Gash Jr.; her parents: Ross and Stella Smith; brothers and sisters: Tony (Cindy) Smith, Wanda Smith (Gerald Andrews, deceased), Frederick Smith and Joanne Earle (Wayne Anderson); niece and nephews: Jordan Smith (Crystal), Gregory Smith (Chrissy), Deon Smith (Michelle), Christa Smith (Aaron) and Matthew Earle; great nieces and nephews: MacKenzie and Zachery Smith; and Caleb MacDonald; brothers and sisters-in-law: Father Joseph Gash, Teresa Gash-Wall and Tony (Judy) Gash; very special cousins whom she adored; as well as other relatives and many friends at the Mamateek Inn, as well as the Doctors, Nurses and patients at the Renal Dialysis Unit . She was predeceased by her step-son: Colin Gash; grandparents: Stan and Mildred Hutchings and Winnie and Frederick Smith. Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 17th at 10:30 A.M. from The Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mt. Bernard Avenue. Father Joseph Gash officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Renal Dialysis Unit of Western Memorial Hospital.
