GORDON SHARPE Corner Brook, NL 1931 - 2011 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordon Sharpe announce his passing on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the Long Term Care Facility in Corner Brook at the age of 79 years. He was a well known respected and successful business man throughout his life. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Gertrude, two daughters from a previous marriage Daphne (Cal) Bruce, New Brunswick and Dale (Terry) Warren, Corner Brook; three grandchildren: Darren (Molly) and Andrew Bruce and David Warren; one sister Phyllis (Frank) Pollett, Gander; step-children: Anna Madore, Corner Brook and Bill (Wanda) Madore, St. John’s and their children; step-daughters: Betty and Gaye Boland and their children, Ontario; as well as a large circle of other family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Allen and Clara Sharpe. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Granting Gordon’s wishes there will be no funeral service. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Long Term Care Facility, Corner Brook. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
