OLIVE BUTTON BAY ST. GEORGE LONG TERM CARE CENTER STEPHENVILLE CROSSING, NL (FORMERLY OF PORT AUX BASQUE, NL) MAY 29, 1910 - APRIL 20, 2011 It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Olive Button announce her passing on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center in Stephenville Crossing, NL at the age of 100 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her nieces: Velma (Ronald) Young, Lourdes, Mary (Clayton) Foote, Bay d’Espoir; nephew Rev. Frank (Georgina) King, Bay Roberts as well as other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Clifford Button; parents Mary and Robert Marks; sisters Elsie Taylor and Naomi King. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home in Stephenville Crossing on Saturday from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place from All Saints Anglican Church in Stephenville Crossing on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Canon Dawn Barrett officiating. Interment will follow the service at Hillside Interfaith Cemetery in Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
