Angus N. Wentzell Corner Brook, NL The family of the late Angus Wentzell regret to announce his passing on Thursday, May 12th, 2011 at the Long Term Care Facility in Corner Brook in his 80th year. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 55 years, Madalyn, his son Brian (Eleanor); grandchildren, Stephanie, Angus and Pearl; great-grandson, Gordon; sister, Charlotte Reid; brothers, Simeon (Maxine), Hughie (Meda), and Robert; sisters-in-law: Margaret (Milton) Burden and Geraldine (Arch) Dollimont, and special nephews and nieces and a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Harrison and Leona; brother Varrie and brothers-in-law Charles Reid and Ralph Parsons. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Friday, May 13th, 8-9:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 14th from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral and celebration of his life will take place on Sunday, May 15th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Michaels and All Angels Anglican Church, Park Drive with the Right Reverend Leonard Whitten officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Angus’ memory to St. Michaels and All Angels Anglican Church, The Children’s Wish Foundation or a charity of one’s choosing.
