1934-2011
Scotty passed away peacefully at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Sunday, May 22, 2011. Wife of the late John Manuel, Scotty is survived by her two children: Cindy (Ted) and Denis (Ivette) and her grandchildren: David, Megan, Clare, Sofia and Alec. She was predeceased by her parents Victor and Mary Ellen Scott of Grand Falls, her brother Victor and her sister Marie (Dawe). Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 28 at 10:30 a.m. from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mount Bernard Avenue with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. A reception will follow at Jennifer's Restaurant, Broadway. As expressions of sympathy flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
