JANET CRITCH Corner Brook, NL December 7, 1913 - May 25, 2011 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Janet Critch announce her passing on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 97 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters: Cavell Allen and Rosalind Rose; grandchildren: Leslie (Marcie) Parsons, Janet (Ronald) Butt, Linda (David) Kung, Lana (Eric) Perrett, Kim (James) Jesso, Rhonda (Chris) Osmond, Monty Allen (Lillian Hann), Wendy (Wayne) Wilton, Christopher Rose (Chantel Munroe) and Sarah Rose (Ryan Carroll); great-grandchildren: Cindy, Chastity, Lesley, Ronnie, Kelly, Justin, Krista, Samantha, Robyn Lynn, Jason, Laura, Monica, Natasha, Bradley, and Meghan; 11 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Elam Critch, parents Eli and Emma Martin, parents-in-law William John and Lydia Critch, daughter Evelyn Parsons, sons-in-law Arthur Allen and Joseph Parsons and brother Cecil Martin. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 27 at 11:00 a.m. from Curling Memorial United Church with Rev. Andrew Wright officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
