DONAHUE Gerona Alice (nee Wheeler) Halfway Point, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gerona Alice Donahue announce her passing on Thursday, April 28th, 2005 at the O'Connell Centre in Corner Brook at the age of 92 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Sheila (Gerald) Young, Basil (Vivian) Donahue both of Corner Brook and Eric (Gladys) Companion, Ontario; special granddaughter Vicki Fisher with whom she resided; daughter-in-law Marie Donahue. 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Sister Mildred (Cyril) Chaytor; sisters-in-law: Mary and Elva Wheeler, Jenny and Gladys Donahue. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son Shawn, April 11th, 2005, husband Arthur, 1981, grandson Brian, 1994, sister Edna, brothers Harold, Clayton, Clifford, Austin, Bernard, Wilfred and Leo. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling on Saturday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 2nd at 10:30 AM from Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Benoit's Cove with Father Bernard Buckle Officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Benoit's Cove. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to Our Lady Star of the Sea Memorial Fund or to the O'Connell Centre Auxiliary Fund.
