CECIL STRATTON June 28, 1916 … June 11, 2011 Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cecil Stratton announce his passing on Saturday, June 11th, 2011 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in his 94th year. He will be sadly missed by his five children: Eric of Ottawa, June Molloy(Tom) of Nova Scotia, Lewis (Norma) of Pasadena, Verna Fudge (Bill), Pasadena, Ralph (Brenda) of Corner Brook; daughter-in-law Edna of Hamilton; 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; brothers: Gerald and Carl; as well as his special friend Mary Robinson at the Lohnes Complex. He was predeceased by his wife Minnie in 1995. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 14th at 2:00 p.m. from the First Pentecostal Church, Premier Drive, with Pastor Joy officiating, followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
