Roy has gone Home, he slipped from the bonds of pain and sickness on Wednesday, June 15th. Left to celebrate a life well lived are his wife of 54 years Eileen (nee Wiseman); sons: David (Pamela MacLean) and Larry (Sherry); daughter Cheryl (Kerry Guy); well loved grandchildren: Lindsay Decker (Michael), Ashley Beadle (Nathan), Stephen Purdy (Arlynn), Allison Purdy, Katie Purdy, David Purdy, and Timothy Purdy; precious great grandson Alexander Decker – the love of his life; sister Fern MacIntosh; and brother Ed Purdy (Anne); as well as a large circle of sisters and brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 20th, at 2 PM from the Salvation Army Citadel, Clarence Street, Majors Robert and Cassie Kean officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Renal Dialysis Unit – Western Memorial Regional Hospital. The family guestbook may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca .
