Rhoda Geraldine Twyne McIver’s, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rhoda Twyne announces her sudden passing at her residence on Saturday, July 9th, 2011 at the age of 75 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Willis (Karen),Myrden, deceased (Denise), Danny (Brenda O’Quinn), Dwayne, and Rhonda Watsham (Brian); loving grandchildren: Scott, Shaunalee, Sherilynn, Tonya, Shane, Janet, Nate, Kayla, Cassandra and Geran; seven great grandchildren; loving companion and friend, Edgar Parsons; brothers: Lawrence Parsons (Eileen) and Melvin Parsons (Rowena); sisters-in-law: Pauline Parsons, Bernice Parsons, Beulah Gale and Shirley Twyne;brother-in-law: Gordon Colbourne; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Emmanuel; sisters: Marie Payne and Cedella Furneaugh; brothers: Wade and Blandford; parents Nelson and Annie Parsons and sisters-in-law: Doreen Parsons, Mary Morris and Eliza Colbourne; brother-in-law: Francis Twyne and Chesley Gale. Visitation will take place from The Epiphany Anglican Church, McIver’s on Sunday evening and Monday from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 12th at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Joan Coles officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted.
