August 2, 1929 - July 22, 2011
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lloyd Tucker announce his passing on Friday, July 22nd, 2011 at Charles LeGrow Health Centre in Port Aux Basques at the age of 81 years. He will be sadly missed by his companion Debbie Peters; sister Margaret (Gordon) Eddy, Sibley’s Cove; cousins: Marina (Gordon) Osmond, Hampton, Clara (Reg) Jones, Mount Pearl, Florence (Albert) Burt, Old Perlican, and Morgan Tucker, Bell River, ON; brother-in-law Bill Seaward, St. John’s, and a large circle of friends. Visitation took place at Fillatre’ Funeral Home on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service was held on Monday, July 25th at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, officiated by Rev. Hannah Dicks and Rev. Louise Richards. Interment followed at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted.
