He leaves to mourn with many precious memories his wife Mary Ann; son Peter (Dawn); daughter Jana (Scott); grandchildren: Chloe, Luke; brothers: Calvin (Adaline), Edgar; sisters: Marie, Carolyn, Cindy, Margaret (Danny) as well as a large circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Margaret Chaffey; grandaughter Angel; brother Edward and sister Vivian. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. from Assumption Parish in Stephenville Crossing with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Stephenville Crossing. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium.
