Passed peacefully away on Monday, August 8, 2011 at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders Roland Smith in his 85th year. Leaving to mourn his wife Cecilia and her family; Marie (Bill) Gatehouse, Ottawa, Walter (Greta) and families, Hawkes Bay, sister-in-law Phylis Smith, Amherst, Nova Scotia, nephew Robert, niece Heather and families; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. He was predeceased by his parents Roland and Jennie Smith, brothers Lorne and Vincent, sister Doreen DeForest. Cremation has taken pace at Humber Valley Crematorium, Pasadena. Burial to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Society. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port au Choix.
