CHAFFEY LENETTA ST. DAVID`S, NL (Resident of Bay St. George Long Term Care) It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lenetta Chaffey announce her passing, after a lengthy illness on Monday, May 9th, 2005 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: son: Jerry Chaffey, St. David`s; daughters: Marguerite Chaffey (John Klassen), St. Catherine`s, ON, and Linda Borden (Wayne), Corner Brook; four grandchildren: Sean and Ian Chaffey and Leigh and Susan Borden; three great grandchildren: Shawna Faye Chaffey, Meagan Chaffey and Ryan Chaffey; brothers: Ronald Pike (Vida), St. David`s and Calvin Pike (Gerri), Cold Brook, NS, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur, infant son Eric, parents: Willis and Martha Pike and brother Ockie Pike and sister-in-law Maude Pike. Friends may visit St. Michael`s and All Angels Church, St. David`s on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m., from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 11th at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Stewart Bellows officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bay St. George Long Term Care or to St. Michael`s and All Angels Church, St. David`s.
