ELIZABETH HAYDEN Corner Brook, NL May 15, 1911 - August 18, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Hayden on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 100 years. Wife of the late Robert Hayden, 1988. She is survived by her son Gordon and his wife Shirley and her sister Bertha Fradsham. Loving “Nan” to 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons Milton, Garfield, Ross and Cyril, her sister Beatrice, her brothers Max and Garfield and her great-grandson Christopher. She will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 20 at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints’ Anglican Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Tanya White and Rev. Derek Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to All Saints’ Anglican Church, Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation or to a charity of one’s choice. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
