WELLS James Gordon April 6th 1937 … September 30th 2011 Deer Lake NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Wells announce his passing on Friday, September 30th 2011, at the Health Science Center in St Johns at the age of 74. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Joan, children: Brenda (Duane) McCarthy; Deer Lake; Dianne (Percie) Cullihall; Cormack, Louise Wiseman (Fred); Lethbridge AB. grandchildren: Johnathon Giles, Jeremy Giles, James Humber, Jennifer Humber, Alexander Brett, great grandchildren: Kenzie Giles, Ciarra Giles, Matthew Beck, Jaret Morris, Jayden Morris, Zackary Brett, brothers and sisters: Irvin (Julie) Wells, Delores Cutler, Lily Browning Tipple (Clayton), Rita (George) Rhodey, Tom Wells (Geneva), Donald (Diana) Wells, sisters and brothers in law: Audrey Rideout, Sylvia (Fred) Burton, Olive Stagg, Allan King, Ruth Wells, and Ivan Fife, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents John and Mary (Doris) Wells, siblings: Uttley Wells, Sandy Wells, Ruby Fife, Johnny Wells, Leah Cooper and Hazel Schwartz. Friends may visit Fillatres Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Monday from 7-9 PM and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday October 5th at 2:00 p.m. from the Cormack Community Center with James Abbott and Daniel Newman officiating, with interment to follow at the Non Denominational Cemetery in Cormack.
