FORD JOHN AUGUSTUS (GUS) CORNER BROOK, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gus Ford announce his passing on Thursday, May 12th, 2005 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 72 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: his wife Shirley (nee Skeard); four children: Jackie Hann (Charles), Gussie Bennett (Paul), Carol Hann (Edward) and Todd (MaryLou); four grandchildren: Shawn Hann, , Nadine Hann, Gregory Lemoine, and Samuel Roche-Ford; two great-grandchildren: Jordan Duffney-Hann and Ryder Duffney-Hann; three step-great grandchildren: Keisha Chaytor, Justin Chaytor and Christopher Roche; two sisters: Grace White and Viola Reid; four brothers: Ronald, Roy, Reg and Ralph Ford, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents Hilda and Samuel Ford and brothers Hector and Eric Ford. Friends may visit Fillatre`s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Friday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. and Saturday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 15th at 2:30 p.m. from Humber United Church, Clarence Street, Rev. Patricia Melindy officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
