Douglas E.H. ELLIOTT Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Douglas Elliott announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Wednesday, September 14th, 2011 at the age of 87 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his children: Louise Carpenter, Randy (Kathy), Eric (Karen) and Sandra Lynn (Dy); grandchildren: Nicole Baldorado, Stacy Carpenter, Amy, Heather, Douglas, Ashley, Allen Randell and Emma Randell; great-grandchildren: Kai, Mitchell, Chase, Isabella and Isabelle, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Isabelle Forsey Hickman Elliott; mother and father: Eliza Jane Greenslade Elliott and Elam Elliott; brothers: Eric Elliott, Gerald Elliott and Roy Elliott and sister Marguerite Elliott Gorner. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling St. on Friday 7-9:00 p.m. and Saturday 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Curling on Sunday, September 18th at 2:00 p.m., Bishop Whitten officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted.
