FRENCH EDWARD CHARLES OF ST. DAVIDS, NL 1929 - 2005 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edward Charles French announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at the age of 75. He leaves to mourn with loving memories his daughter Maxine (Bill) Hayden, Deer Lake; step-son Lawrence Short, Grey River, daughter-in-law Melina Short, Halifax, NS; grandchildren: Stephen (Kelly), St. John`s, Aaron (Brenda), Halifax, NS, Victor and Edward, Deer Lake; four great grandchildren: Mary, Haley, Kate and Mason; sisters: Pearl McLean, Barachois Brook, Elva Hulan, St. Davids, Ada (John) Hickey, Goose Bay and Palma Shears, Stephenville; brothers: Ronald (Maureen), St. Davids, Raymond (Marlee), Nova Scotia, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by wife Mary; parents Edward and Norah; sister Mary; brother Gordon. Visitation will be held on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m., Friday, 10 am - 12 noon at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, St. Davids from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, May 20th at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Stewart Bellows officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
