L’Anse au Loup
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hubert Ryland announce his passing on Wednesday, September 14th, 2011 at Charles Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony at the age of 90 years. Leaving to mourn with loving memories, his wife Julia; children: Cecil (Christine), Albert (Bernice), Emile (Irene), Genevieve (Roland), Eben (Eileen), Doug (Bev), Margaret (Freddy), Gary (Shannon) and families, as well as a large circle of other family and friends. He was predeceased by parents Albert and Margaret Ryland, brother Henry, and sisters Rebecca, Emma, and Ethel. Visitors were received at the family residence on Thursday and Friday, and then transferred to the Anglican Church in L’Anse au Loup on Saturday and Sunday from where the funeral service took place on Monday, September 19th, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Norman Cutler officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery in L’Anse au Loup. As expressions of sympathy flowers were graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home in L’Anse au Loup.
