Greta Margaret Warford Cox’s Cove, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Greta Warford announce her passing on Tuesday, October 11th, 2011 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 86 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughter: Stella Norris; granddaughter: Ramona Norris; grandson: Jason Warford; three great grandchildren: Nicholas, Jessica and Reese; sister: Neta Hall; brother: Alex MacLean; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband pearce, son Archibald and his wife Jacqueline; sisters : Rosie and Jack McLean; Annie and George Lawrence, Eileen and John Hoyles; brother: James Payne. Granting her wishes, cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Friends may visit St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Cox’s Cove on Saturday, October 15th at 1:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of WMRH.
