DOROTHY "ELOISE" STANFORD Corner Brook, NL May 11, 1929 - October 22, 2011 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dorothy "Eloise" Stanford announce her passing on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 82 years. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Edith Stanford, brother Reginald (Joyce). She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her brother William (Mary); nephews and niece: Ronald, Donald (Marilyn), James, Michael (Ruth) and Margaret (Hannu); great nieces and nephews: Laura, David, Stephen, Stephen and Alison; as well as many friends including residents and staff at the Lohnes Complex. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 27 at 11:00 a.m. from The First United Church, Park Street with Rev. Myles Vardy officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First United Church Memorial Fund. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
