Passed peacefully away in Labrador City on Tuesday, November 1st, 2011, Mercedes Bailey at the age of 77 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Richard Bailey (Dianne), Cindy Abbott (Jerry), Susan Reeves (Keith), Rosemary Belore (Greg) and Terry Bailey (Mary); nine grandchildren : Patrick, Craig (Angie), Shelly-Lynn, Matthew, Trevor, Chase, Joshua, Justin and Ryan; two great grandchildren; Dylan and Mya; brothers: Bob, Clayton (Georgina), Junior (Lillian), Gary, Wayne and Roger; sisters: Margarete (Stan), Daphne (Harold), Rennie and Linda (Tim); in-laws: Mary, Gus (Betty), Butch (Gale), Betty (Ross), Guy, Myrtle, Bernie, and Pearl; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband: Wallace Bailey; son: Wayne Bailey; mother: Mildred Bishop; mother and father-in-law: Gladys and Frank Bailey; brothers-in-law: Frank, Brymer and Donald. Private visitation to be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive. The Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 8th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Michaels and All Angels Anglican Church with Reverend Edmund Laldin officiating. The interment to follow at the Anglican cemetery, Farm Road. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
