RYAN JOSEPH Port Saunders, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph Ryan announce his passing on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 72 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Odilia; children: Jeanette (Ben) VanWyck, Grimsby, Ontario, Michael (Sandra), Castors River North, Joanne (Andy), Port au Choix, Larry (Laurie), Burin Bay Arm, Judy, Corner Brook and Paul (Bonnie), River of Ponds; grandchildren: William, Michaela, Melanie, Matthew, Emily, Olivia, Isabella, Noah, Sara, Hannah, Adam and Leo; brothers: Raymond (Catherine), Patrick (Carrie), Gordon (Margaret) and Leo. He was predeceased by his parents Felix and Mildred, sisters Agnes and Laura, brothers Leonard and Kelvin; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will be receiving friends from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday evening and Thursday from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, November 18 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Lee Lainey officiating. Interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove. AS expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the NL Alzheimer’s Association.
