HAROLD VALLIS October 10, 1922 … December 5, 2011 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harold Vallis announce his passing on Monday, December 5th, 2011 at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre, Port Aux Basques at the age of 89 years. Born in Coomb’s Cove, NL, Harold was the son of the late Arthur James Vallis and Ezitte (Vallis) Walters. He was also predeceased by step-father Ernest Walters; step-sister Dora Farrell; brother Eric Walters Sr.; sister Pearl Clarke; brother-in-law Dave Clarke Jr., and grandson Michael Walters. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his loving family: Dad to Eric (Sylvia) Walters, with whom he resided in Harbour le Cou. Uncle to Brad (Valerie) Clarke, Port Aux Basques. Poppy to Eric and Erica Walters, Fort McMurray, AB, Eugene (Jennifer), Katie and Lexie Skinner, Fort St. John, BC; brother James (Josie) Vallis, Rose Blanche; sister-in-law Katie Walters, Halifax, NS, and a large circle of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Family and friends visited St. Michael’s and All Angels Church in Rose Blanche on Wednesday and Thursday from where the Funeral Service took place on Friday, December 9th at 2:00 p.m., Reverend Kris Gosse officiated. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morte Rd. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Aux Basques.
