ANTHONY FRANCES CORNER BROOK, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frances Anthony announce her passing on Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at the Health Science Centre, St. John's at the age of 80. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her four children: Doreen (Bill) Hull, Corner Brook, Derrick (Stella), Winnipeg, MB, Kevin (Florence), Botwood and Marie (Brian) Sweetapple, Corner Brook; nine grandchildren: David (Liette), Stephen (Tammy), John (Carole), Darren (Bethany), Daniel (Janet), Kevin (Jill), Vickie (Jamie), Anne-marie and Nancy; four great grandchildren: Heather, Patrick, Julie and Sarah; sister: Pauline Moores, Pilley's Island; brothers-in-law: Frank (Hilda) Anthony, Pasadena, Roy (Marie) Anthony, Pilley's Island, Otto Rice, Pilley's Island and Fred Colbourne, Pilley's Island; sisters-in-law: Shirley (Ray) Pond, Toronto, and Ivy (Sam) Parsons, Clarenville; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by husband Wilbur, 1986 and two sisters: Mae and Daphne. Visitation will take place from Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue today, Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10: am to 12 noon. The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 27th at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Temple, O'Connell Drive. Majors Gary and Sharon Cooper officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Salvation Army Temple, The Heart and Stroke Foundation or flowers are graciously accepted.
