It is with great sadness that the family of the late Kay McGrath announce her passing on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at the Long Term Care Centre at the age of 93 years. She will be sadly missed by her children: Gordie (Debbie), Carol (Tex), Judy (Dick), Billy (Marg); 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husband Bill "Speed" McGrath; grandson Paul McGrath and parents Richard & Kitty Stamp. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Friday, February 3rd between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 4th from Our Lady Queen of Peace RC Church in Happy Valley Goose Bay. Cremation will follow the Funeral Service. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. Following the funeral service, a reception will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion.
