It is with great sadness that the family of the late Pearl White announce her passing at her residence in North West River on Tuesday, January 31st, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was in her 90th year. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Gerald White, parents: Milda and Joseph Broomfield and her siblings. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Friday between the hours of 7-9 p.m. Visitation will continue at the United Church in North West River on Saturday between the hours of 7-9 p.m., from where the Funeral Service will take place on Sunday, February 5th at 2:00 p.m. Interment following at the Community Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
