It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eldon Crocker announce his passing on Friday, February 3rd 2012, from the Bonne Bay Hospital in Norris Point at the age of 96. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sister Flora (Scott) Brake, Niece Sharon Hann, with whom he resided, special cousins: Una Jacobs, Olive Payne, Bessie Crocker, Allan McLean, sisters in law: Gladys Sheppard, Edna Sheppard and Annie Sheppard, as well as a large circle of other cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by wife Mildred, grandparents John and Elizabeth Crocker, mother Winifred, sisters and brothers: Vera (Freeman) Crocker, Loretta (Raymond) White, Vivian (Gordon) Cluett, Reginald (Mary) Crocker and Luke Crocker. Visitation was held on Saturday from 7-9PM and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM from the St. Simon, St Jude Anglican Church in Trout River from where the funeral service will be held on Monday February 6th at 2PM with Rev. Charlene Laing officiating, with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Trout River. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Anglican Church Fund. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake.
