Herbert Norman Young Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Herbert Young announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Friday, February 24th, 2012 at the age of 91 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his wife of 70 years, Molly (nee Sheppard); sons: Roy (Jane), Eric (Peggy) and Brian (Marg); daughter: Debbie (Keith); two special granddaughters: Lisa , London, ON and Lana Childs (Roland); 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his daughter-in-law: Marie; parents: Norman and Elizabeth Young; three brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Saturday evening, 7-9:00 P.M. and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 P.M. The funeral service will take place on Monday, February 27th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Michaels and All Angels Anglican Church, Park Drive. Reverend Roberta Woodman officiating, with cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation.
