Passed away suddenly on Friday, March 2nd, 2012, Dr. Richard Harley, an extremely caring Radiologist and devoted husband. Leaving to mourn; his loving wife Kelly (nee Burt); his father: Dr. Brian Harley Sr.; sisters: Alison (Doug O’Keefe), Caroline (Tom Alteen) and Jacqueline; as well as his mother-in-law: Margaret; brother-in-law: Craig; sister-in-law: Belle (Duane) and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, colleagues and co-workers. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 5th at 11:00 AM from the Pepsi Centre Annex, with Marilyn Avery officiating. Richard tremendously enjoyed his work, dogs, hunting, salmon fishing, snowmobiling, motorcycling, and love of life with good company, nature and his Lomond River. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bay of Islands SPCA, SPAWN or Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
