Passed peacefully into the presence of the lord on Tuesday, March 13th, 2012 from the Bonne Bay Medical Center in Norris Point, Dulcie “Melvina” Wight, age 85. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Lillian Watts; Rocky Harbour, David (Margaret) Wight; Rocky Harbour, Daisy (Ray) Brown; Rocky Harbour, Irving (Melanie) Wight; Vancouver, Judy Wight; Rocky Harbour, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, sisters: Agnes, Rose and Beulah, sisters in law: Bertha, Beulah, Brenda and brother in law James, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Rendell, son Keith and son in law Cyril Watts. Friends may visit the Maranatha Pentecostal Church in Rocky Harbour on Thursday, March 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, March 16th at 2 PM with Major Leighton Patey and Pastor Howard Feltham officiating, interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Pentecostal Church Fund. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake.
