EDWARD BAKER Irishtown, NL April 21, 1944 - April 5, 2012 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edward Baker announce his passing on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility at the age of 67 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 47 years Valda (nee White); sons: Terry (Sandra), Todd (Amanda) and Jason; grandchildren: Ashley, Amy, Tyson, Pheneoix and Cassandra; brothers and sisters: Wilfred Brake, Regina Johnson (Jim), Dollina Leggo (Gerald), Shirley Collins, Randy Baker (Barb) and Princealene Bartlett (Brian); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Genevieve Baker, brother Ernest (Bub) and sister Irene (Fronie). Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Sunday and Monday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 10 at 11:00 a.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home Chapel, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue with Monsignor Edwin Gale officiating.
