BENJAMIN WILCOX BARRETT Corner Brook, NL February 14, 1939 - April 6, 2012 Passed peacefully away on Friday, April 6, 2012, Benjamin W. Barrett at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 73 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 50 years Doreen (nee Chaulk); children: Steve (Kim), Jim (Tina) and Susan (Rob); grandchildren: Erika, Devan, Katie, Kristen, Kylene, Rebecca, Robbie, Rachel and Maggie; mother Clarice Barrett; sister and brothers: Hilda (Derek), Max (Linda) and Bill (Barb); brothers and sisters-in-law John, Mary, Emily (Bob), Joyce (George), Lionel, Lewis (Davina), Tom (Joan), Ruth, Joan (Ron) and Wayne (Denise); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Benjamin Sr. and sister Robin. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Sunday 7-9 p.m. and Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 10 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Temple, Citadel Drive with Major Max Barrett officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, donations may be made to the Salvation Army Temple Youth Ministries. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
