DOUCETTE Anselm St. George's, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Anselm Doucette announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Monday, June 6th, 2005 at the age of 73 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 50 years Elizabeth; children: Joan Doucette, St. Georges, Mary (Cyril) Organ, Barachois Brook; grandchildren: Catherine, Michael, Andrew, Marlena, Elena; mother Josephine, Stephenville Crossing; brothers: Larry (Marie), British Columbia, Hilton (Joan), Edmonton, Alberta, Ralph (Judy), Florida; sister Ursula (Amos) Baldwin, Arizona. He is predeceased by his father Joseph; brothers; Francis, Isaac and son-in-law Gary Messervey. Visitation will be held at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, St. Georges on Wednesday and Thursday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., from where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, June 10th at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery, Shallop Cove. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Paraplegic Association. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, West Street, Stephenville Crossing.
