EVANS Benson Pasadena, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Benson Evans announce his passing on Wednesday, June 8th, 2005 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 89 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories sons: Robert (Lucille), Corner Brook; Fred (Helen) and Kevin (Helen) both of Pasadena; daughter Sheila, Pasadena. 7 grandchildren: Jason (Shelly), Michael (Shauna), Alison (Barry), Chad, Heather, Tyler and Krista, 6 great-grandchildren. Sisters-in-law: Shirley Young, Plattsburg, New York; Lilla Smith, Alberquerque, New Mexico; Floss Evans, Prince Edward Island; brother-in-law Wilbert Ringer, Ontario. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Eileen (nee Smith), 1994, sisters Joy, Vanessa & Ella, brothers Clayton and Thomas. The family will be receiving friends at the Holy Family Parish Roman Catholic Church in Pasadena Thursday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Friday from 10-12 noon from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, June 10th at 2:00 PM with Father John Peddle officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Pasadena. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Pallative Care Unit, Western Memorial Regional Hospital.
