Lucia passed away at the age of 45 years in Edmonton, Alberta. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Shawn Genge; children: Marissa and Sarah; mother: Genevieve; and brothers and sisters. Lucia was predeceased by her father Arthur Thomas. Friends may visit St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Port Saunders on Wednesday evening and Thursday from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, April 20 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Lee Lainey officiating. Interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port au Choix. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donations may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
